I have traveled extensively and this was by far one of the loveliest properties I have stayed in anywhere. Don't get confused by the B&B in the title. It is not a traditional B&B like you would see in the US. It is a small boutique hotel in a great location in the old city of Cartagena. The common areas and dining rooms are beautifully decorated in tones white and tan with a splash of color through flowers and accessories. My room was really lovely with great neutral colors, lighting, king bed, wonderful bedding and huge bathroom with gorgeous stone shower. The WiFi, Cable TV with CNN and a iPod player were on the list. There is a lovely roof deck, bar and pool on the 3rd floor. I found the staff to be very helpful in planning my airport transfers, making dinner and lunch reservations and printing my boarding passes. Breakfast was not a buffet but very good with good service. I found that their restaurant suggestions were excellent and different from those that I had read about before my trip. Two of my better meals came were due to those suggestions.
I loved Cartagena and walking through the colorful streets, seeing the art museum, the small plazas, the colonial buildings and balconies. Casablanca was the perfect place to have based my exploration!!!More
