Stopped in here for lunch and ordered the 6,000 Peso (about $3) meat lasagne. I wasn't expecting much, but the portion was a great size and came with two slices of toasted baguette. The lasagne was really tasty and there was not a shortage of meat or other vegetables. Staff did not speak english and our spanish was limited, but they were extremely polite and tried their hardest to communicate. Would definitely recommend.

Casa Suiza serves reasonably priced great food which is hard to find in Cartagena. A great selection including killer steals, pasta dishes and salads. We would go back and did twice! Very reliable

You might not think much when you walk into this one-room restaurant in the historic centre of Cartagena - there's nothing fancy about the decor here. But it doesn't matter because this place is all about the food, which is really good. On a visit to Cartagena this week I had a lunch consisting of vegetable soup, spetzli with a paprika chorizo sauce, salad, a cold fresh juice and a coffee all for just COP$14,000 (approximately USD$7). On another day, we turned up mid-afternoon and the chef made us superb bruschetta and melted gruyere on toast, with a delicious mango lassi to drink.

The menu is extensive, and includes vegetarian options, as well as fish and meat. Lunch is really good value, which you can tell from the number of locals who were also eating there. Overall, this was a real discovery, and it was one of our gastronomic highlights of our stay in Cartagena.

excellent swiss food, cheap for a touristic place like cartagena (10000 for a huge salad with a delicious chicken breast), simple, nice interior design, excellent and friendly service - all this in the historical centre of cartagena! wow!

We ate at this very small restaurant in Cartagena during a cruise stop as we wandered on our own through the old city. When we were there, all of the other patrons were locals, always a good sign. The food was excellent; we ordered 4 different dishes and shared them so we could try a number of typical foods. Some of the items on the menu are Swiss inspired, but many are Colombian dishes. Our meal included soup, salad, main course, and coffee. We skipped the salad, and the waitress very kindly offered to serve an extra soup to our young granddaughter. They make many of their own products, including a delicious chorizo sausage and some of the sauces. If you check out their website, you can see that they actually sell some of their homemade products. For about $10-$12 per person (including bottled drinks), we ate really well.
