Yep, it's amazing ceviche and seafood. You're getting your money's worth. But definitely save this place for the night you want to "splurge" a little bit!

This place is located in an amazing spot.. Anthony Bourdaine chose it for his Colombia episode.. The food is ok.. But ain't thaaaat great.. However.. The owner is very nice, he organizes tours and his overwhelming friendliness and service balances everything out in his favor

This was easily our favorite restaurant in Colombia, which is saying a lot since we ate very well there! The food was delicious and creative and wonderful, especially the suprema bastimenti lobster. The decor is adorable and it's a wonderful experience for lunch or dinner. It was actually featured in Anthony Bourdain's No Reservations, which makes sense since La Cevicheria is everything that Tony looks for in a restaurant - amazing food, interesting local dishes, laid back decor and a friendly chef. It would be a shame to go to Cartagena and miss dining here.

We also did a private cooking class with Jorge Escandon, the chef/owner, and it was one of our all-time favorite travel experiences. He takes you to the local market and guides you on a tour, and then you go back to his house along the beach and cook seafood paella and then eat lunch together. He's really fun and talented and it's so special to visit his charming home. Really wonderful experience! If you're a foodie, I can't imagine a better way to spend a day in Colombia. Send an email to cevicheria@hotmail.com to book this market tour and cooking class.

We had a nice dinner, seafood was fresh and ceviche tasted good. Service was too slow, they only had 2 employees taking care of all the tables and it was not enough. We waited for approximately an hour for the food to arrive. Overall the food was good and i recommend the place, just dont be in a hurry.
