“lived next door to this church”
Review of Plaza de la Paz

Plaza de la Paz
Reviewed February 17, 2016

I used to go to this church two days a week in order to experience the beauty within. It is also very quiet and peaceful. Often, in front of this church many young people congregate. The area is in addition, is a huge place for commerce and a high profile place where military parades and other government officials often visit.

This is a plaza, lots of hand-laid brick, some trees lining the edges of the upper section. The lower section is more 'park like'. There are concerts here fairly often. Across from the Catedral and the mall Portal del Prado, so you won't get bored.

This is a nice open plaza to take a stroll. Lots of people around and you can buy an ice-cream or juice. There is a large shopping centre next to the plaza and a metro station for good transport links.

This was a great place to see some festivities before Carnaval started the next day!! Everyone is out on the street, eating, dancing, and watching performers. We had a great time and the energy was insane!! Seems like it'd be fun and busy on a regular night as well. The mall is right next door too, which is convenient.

It's an average plaza that is only lively on the weekends, which is when it gets full of teenagers and there's really just not much to do unless there is some kind of event going on.
