“Excellent Chinese food at reasonable prices”
Reviewed October 9, 2012

Dim Sum a discretion is superb and a steal at RMB 88 pP. The a la a carte menu is also excellent, the service is impeccable, at prices that are surpisingly reasonable for a restaurant in a luxury hotel. If I lived in Chengdu I would go there frequenty.

“What happened?”
Reviewed December 10, 2011

This was one of the very best Chinese restaurants in a city with great restaurants.
What happened. The luncheon dim sum was better than many in Hong Kong or San Francisco. Today we had mediocre dim sum and second rate Sichuan specialties. Even the plates and serving dishes did not seem to be the same level as when last I ate there. The server did not even know what dim sum was!!
A once great place to eat in a beautiful setting has gone downhill.
Eat at Cafe Z which seems to get better and better.
