My 4th visit to Chengdu. The place only has a private room and would be suitable to visit with minimum of 6-8 people. Optimal would be 10 pax so that you would be able to try different dishes.

This restaurant would be able to cater to both foreign and Chinese guests. The menu has Sichuan traditional cuisine but also has some other Chinese menu. All of the dishes that we tried were well executed.

"Ma" and "La" of Sichuan cuisine are well balanced. Not too oily. Clean food.

We chose this restaurant having read reviews on Tripadvisor and in our guidebook. We went on a Sunday night when the restaurant was mostly empty but found the service was fairly inattentive. The staff spoke virtually no English but the menu had pictures so ordering was not a problem.

We chose a number of dishes including Sichuan classics and some recommended by the waitress. Overall the food was bland and un-interesting, lacking the flavour and spice typically associated with Sichuan cuisine (I've had better Sichuan in London). We ate far better and cheaper Sichuan in Chengdu, for example Jinfurong near Wenshuyuan.

This is a harmless, Sichuan restaurant that obviously caters to Westerners with money. It's not cheap but the service is better than most Chinese restaurants. The food was okay, but not out of this world good. I would skip and either go more local or go more high end.

Excellent representation of Sichuan cuisine in a very comfortable space, professional service, and good spoken English. I especially enjoyed the Kung Pao Chicken, noting to self, that I finally get to try this dish like it`s meant to taste!

What a marvellous relief! Sichuan food is the absolute best of the Chinese fare. This restaurant was wonderful. The food was endless but oh so very tasty. No starchy stodge at all. The food was very fresh and the flavours beautiful. The atmosphere is very pleasant and we had a view of the very busy kitchen. The service great. The location is terrific. Our guide took us through the streets surrounding and I have to say after all the places we had been to in China, Chengdu is my favourite, especially the quarter where this restaurant is located. Its an absolute must.
