This place has a rich history and hence it is full of visitors even during wkdays. It has alot of souvenior shops, pubs and snack counters. There are decorations on the walls which depics the ancient story. Interesting place.

The area has changed in recent years. It is no longer a collection of really up-market restaurants, and today houses many moderate low cost local eateries. Several Sichuan face changing shows which may be worth a visit.

Walked here at the suggestion of one of the folks at our hotel. A really eclectic mix of traditional architecture, galleries, shops, bars and restaurants....while it is busy, at least you don’t have to dodge mopeds.

Used to be a great place to visit. Now is a touristy place with low taste. Lost all its characteristics.
