Must be my 4th visit here and evening time with a visitor us the best time to visit. Sit by the street Tea store drink tea and watch the crowd go by itself is an experience. Than have dinner cum Chengdu folk show us a must. The famous Face Changing show us a must in Chengdu. Finish with a cold beer in one of the many small pub and hear done local musician singing is a great way to end the night.

Went here with friends & enjoyed the walk around the 'old style of Chengdu life' plenty of shops, restaurants and places of interest for all ages. Sample the local spicy dishes or drink tea & watch the world go by, very relaxing & enjoyable

We came on a Sunday and it was really crowded - too crowded to be enjoyable. The area also seems very commercial. If you can, get out of Chengdu and visit an old town instead. We also visited Huanglongxi Ancient Town and it was much more enjoyable.

We walked through this area pretty quickly and it took about 30 minutes.

Another great place to visit in chengdu. One of the older parts of the city. Went and saw a show totally enjoyed this area . Like most of the old parts of chengdu it is full of gifts to buy and food to eat. History that you can't find anywhere else. Im definitely going back and ill plan my trip a whole lot better.

A authentic Chinese experience with some great buildings to see. We went on the weekend which is a busy time with lots of people mingling around
