but not soo much to see. because the church is so new you can not expect an medival notre dame. In general nice to see how they explain christianity and the way how they have painted the walls

The catholic church in Qingdao is one of the prettier churches I've seen in China. A pity the church itself was closed when I visited. A security guard told us it was only opened for Sunday services. There is major construction going on outside the church. Be prepared also for groups of Chinese couples posing for their wedding photos outside the church. Half the time you'll be vying with them for shots of the church.

The church is a beautiful building, but unfortunately it was closed when I went (september 2013) and no sign of a reopening.

Went to see the church but it was closed. No signs in English to say when were masses or when it was open.

Sundays are the best time to come down and watch all the weddings happen. There are probably over 50 weddings happening with all the traditional Chinese flair.
