I think the only thing that could have made this visit any better would be if we visited during the spring or summer months when flowers would be in bloom. This garden is aptly named, as it is a seemingly lovely place to linger over a cup of tea or with a sketchbook.
As we visited towards the end of the Chinese New Year celebration, crowds were down and we had time to explore and take pictures. Our china.com tour guide Peter Wu took us through all of the different rooms and spaces, explaining in full the use for each one.
All in all, a lovely place well worth taking the time to see.
