this restaurant was one of the best in term of price, service and food quality level. Their beef carpaccio was the best in town. Besides, the fish dishes were according to the menu not like some of restaurant I know who offer tilapia for sea bass...The new owner is now running the place and starts to introduce French dishes. Unfortunately his cheese fondue was awful, far to be done correctly with the right cheese so it gets hard very fast and served in a bread bowl??? We need to try again and we hope he is correcting his bad start.

This was probably the first few Italian restaurants in Suzhou - with Italian owner and chef - but the food is just average. Even the wine was nothing special you can buy better variety at Metro.

New owners took over and from the New Year (Chinese), they will convert it to a French restaurant. They have already introduced some French specials, such as fondue and onion soup. The fondue was not good... served in a bowl made of bread, and so the cheese quickly got hard and congealed. The pasta dishes we had (3-cheese ravioli and penne arrabbiata) were quite good, and the service was impeccable. The tiramisu was the best I've ever had!

nice little italian restaurant in the heart of the nightlife street shi quan jie.
from my opinion the best carpaccio and pizza in town.
fairly priced, friendly and good service are making this place to one of my favourites in suzhou.
if you want to get a decent italian style pizza or other italian style food then thats the place to go to.
always again :-)

I love the cozy and grown-up atmosphere of this restaurant. The food and service is just great and the menu being in English, Chinese and Italian is a pleasant surprise.
The menu is extensive offereing everything from a set menu speicals, to dinner set value menu and an À la carte menu which includes Italian favourites such as, Insalata Caprese, lasagna, risotto, and pasta cooked just the way I like it. There have a good dessert menu but I am always disappointed with desserts in china (crème brûlée and tiramisu are all there).
They have a comprehensive wine menu and its great that they serve san pellegrino water (always a treat when in China). The prices are very reasonable and will keep you coming back for more.
