Nice looking hotel and close to the mall. There is close to zero English speakers in this hotel. They don't honor check in times. Very reasonable and clean. Food offerings are horrible. Luckily there are food options at the mall. Questionable meat at their restaurants ... and they don't turn on the air conditioning in common areas.

If you are in Harbin, this is the hotel you have to stay and experience. Very different than normal hotel. They have a unique setup following a native culture. All the staff wearing a local native dress. Location is not bad even though around 10 KM from downtown but excellent view.

Don't stay here. This is how it went..first night, part of the ceiling fell down, so we were sent to another room. Second night, no hot water, great... Third night, hot water somehow magically showed up so my wife decided to take a bath, and the bath tub cracked, CRACKED! The crack left a cut on wife's back. Then later in the night the toilet started leaking. Kids from next room started banging on my door and demanded us to open the door so that they can see the room. Go figured. I do not recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the city of Harbin.

This hotel is to the north of the river away from the center. Its food isn't top quality, but that is it on the negative front, and the first point has a positive angle as the higher rooms with a view of the river is pretty special. The pool is lovely, the staff great. And bizarre as it sounds they have the BEST slippers. Rooms are huge with huge baths. Loved it. Will go back in the summer. Think it will be lovely. Ignore the naysayers!

Hotel is in the new district far from downtown. Rooms are very big and well-equipped. Staff is kind but mostly speaks Chinese only. English conversation is very difficult. There are no attractions near hotel. It takes 30 minutes by taxi to reach downtown. Buffet breakfast (43th floor) is delicious. Swimming pool (5th floor) is clear and big enough.

Room Tip: Higher floors have great view.
