We stayed here for 4 nights in February 2013. The room was 269 RMB per night (or about US$43 -- I think there is better value out there with the Chinese chains such as Huating or Jinjiang. The hotel has very high traffic with lots of guests checking in, checking out, and asking for things -- so you had to wait, or be assertive in getting the attention of the (two) reception staff. The reception staff did not seem well trained for customer service as they were sometimes rude, gave inconsistent or conflicting information, and would multi-task by taking new requests while working on your request and eventually forget about you. I would have expected better training for an Ibis chain. The wired internet did not work in the guest room, but there was free wireless in the lobby which was relatively fast. The rooms were small, but tidy and clean -- good housekeeping! The common areas for the lobby, elevators, and hallways had very dirty carpets, from the ice and dirty snow being tracked in by the other guests. Great location, very convenient to everything. In summary, you can do better elsewhere by paying less for more, or paying the same for more.
