Owner description: Known among locals as Shenzhen’s “Central Park” this gorgeous green space provides both respite from the noise of the city and a picture-perfect view of Shenzhen’s skyscrapers in the distance. Don't leave without buying a bag of lychees, which grow on the park’s trees.

“a beautiful park full of locals”
Reviewed November 21, 2013

I read that Lychee Park is a break from the big city, and it definitely is. It is nicely wooded with a few ponds. There is a playground, lots of open space where there were people taking dance lessons and practicing Tai Chi, and a randomly placed exhibit of beehives and beekeeper suits.
Lychee park is a wonderful place to relax and soak up some authentic Shenzhen.

“Fabulous inner-city park”
Reviewed November 17, 2013

I spent a fantatic Sunday morning in this sprawling inner-city park. Impeccably maintained, it is very popular with locals, but never crowded since it is large enough for those seeking solitude and respite from the city. Only negative is a lack of food options. Take your own!

“Nice city park”

Just a nice park. You can enjoy 1 hour walk there. That is just near KK 100 builiding and some big shopping malls.

“It's a nice spot”
Reviewed September 18, 2013

This small'ish park is in contrast to the surrounding skyscrapers. It is very charming, and when I visited at the weekend it was quiet.

“A gem in the middle of Shenzhen”
Reviewed July 30, 2013

Litchi (Lychee) Park is a beautiful park in the center of Shenzhen. The enormous picture of Deng Xiaoping marks the entrance on Shennan Boulevard. It is well maintained and you can see thousands of people playing music, singing, dancing and generally enjoying this peaceful setting in the midst of the hustle and bustle of city life. For me, it defies the frenetic development of Shenzhen.
