Was in Shenzhen on business. POSITIVES: Late check in was surprisingly efficient. Staff took all of my belongings to my room and made sure I was hooked up to the internet before they left. Bell hop declined a tip. Room was spacious, clean, and indicative of a 5 star hotel. I will admit that it was much better than my room at the Ritz Carlton in Washington DC, the week before. Food was average. French restaurant was nice.....sold out of Kobe steaks though when I went, which for the price, they should have cows on standby. Room service was exceptional as well. Would definitely stay here again. They make a nice strong cappuccino, rather than hunting down a Starbucks every morning. Fresh plate of fruit with every room cleaning.
NEGATIVES: Small drops of blood on the wall next to sanitary napkin supply (If you weren't using the toilet, you probably wouldn't see it). There was a very sharp, carpet tack strip, between the bedroom and the hallway...kept sticking my feet. RM 6047
