Positives. The hotel is very good value at 230 Yuan per night. The staff are very polite and try there best to be helpful. The rooms are relatively clean and the bed very comfortable. I did not try the restaurant so no comment. The breakfast was fine.

Negatives. As a very limited Chinese speaker, I found dealing with the reception staff very difficult. Any query over my bill or service required could not be delt with by the staff. They tried to use a google translate site to talk to me. I would have to type in my question, eg I need to extend my stay for 2 weeks, can you reserve the room for me? Mad panic followed, they started asking me for more money. I asked t see the manager but not available. Eventually, I was able to book an appointment the following day to spea to him. His English is good and issues sorted. The hotel should be more accurate with their multilingual claim on their website.

Saying all that, it is not the fault of the staff, they tried their best and we all left smiling.
I was on 5th floor so KTV not too bad. The location is a bit isolated, but if you master the bus services then no problem. Walk to Daxin metro is about 20 mins.

Room Tip: Insist on 5th floor or you will be disturbed by the KTV until 2am

A lovely hotel about 20 minutes from the airport. We stayed there whilst on a layover.
The room was new with retro decor. A lovely bathroom with a huge shower head. We had a room with 2 queens sized beds which were very comfortable. There was an Internet cord in the room which allowed us to check our emails when attached to our laptop. There was a tea kettle in the room with tea bags but no milk or sugar.
The housekeeper had left a key in the room, perhaps a master key to other rooms. We didn't try it in other rooms but seems a little careless.
One of the front desk ladies spoke English which was very helpful.

I had reserved and paid by booking sitet. But I was made a demand for more money when I checked in because the booking site carried a wrong charge. So they already canceled my payment and I had to pay whole charge. The time is midnight. So I couldn't ask anybody.I paid them.
This hotel has KARAOKE rooms at second floor. I couldn't sleep every day.
and room service was imperfection. I found stains in towel and sheets.
What was even worse, they depended more money when I checked out.
They said the charge I had already paid is pre-authentic charege and showed me a receipt that they had lead money. So I paid. Because the fligt time was on me.
When I came back my country,I checked the booking site.So I found this [ -- ]hotel cheated me.

Overall this is a very solid 3 star hotel. Nothing too fancy but clean (very clean by Chinese standards) and comfortable. The decor is very modern. If you are an interior designer the use of so many motifs and patterns may be considered offensive. For those of us who have less refined taste the decor can seem unusual and in some cases unexpected. The rooms are a little smaller than other parts of China-more like Hong Kong. MAstering the video on demand system seems requires an extensive knowledge of written chinese and several hours of study. However, with just a few minutes of experimentation you can watch TV. The AC works very well and ther is plenty of hot water in the modern and very clean bathrooms. Broadband is fast and easy to connect to. If you don't have an expense account that lets you stay at the Marco Polo this place is a good bet.
