I have actually visited here 3 times now. I think I enjoyed the first time the best because it was during Chinese New Year and everything was decorated extra special. My favorite part was the Cultural Villages side. You can explore the various house styles of ethnic minorities which are quite different from one another. Try to catch some shows, we especially enjoyed the Tibet show and the battle on horseback. My daughter loved doing the archery near the battle show and yurts. Twice we have eaten at the Chinese restaurant next to the waterfall just past the big series of gates and it was good and inexpensive. M 12 yo got bored looking at the houses, but I thought there were other actvities nicely spaced throughout the park to help keep everyone's interest.
