I am completely in love with the Little Sheep concept. Sure, you leave smelling of you dinner, that's the price you pay for a delicious and fun meal. The general concept is that you sit at table of 4 or more, select a hot pot of stock (choose between spicy (not too hot), tomato and natural) and add to that a variety of ingredients such as thinly sliced lamb and beef, enoki mushrooms, Chinese cabbage, noodles etc. The ingredients cook quickly and can be hauled out with chopsticks and enjoyed.
It's best to go in a big group so that you can select lots of different dishes and take time over the experience. The beer is good and the "Great Wall" red wine goes reasonably well with the food. Of course, as in other Chinese restaurants, smoking is allowed, which can be off putting.
I notice that Litte Sheep has made it to the USA. If it ever came to UK I'd be a regular. So it's not fine dining, but as a social event it is great and a little bit different.
