“very nice exhibit.”

Although there was hardly any English explanation I learned a lot from it.
The stuffed animal section was really outdated.

“Chinese In North America”
Reviewed September 25, 2012

This free attraction is worth the visit. We spent a few hours in the Chinese Overseas Museum spread over 3 floors and the park like grounds outside the museum on Fri Sept 21. It was an interesting and educational visit. I knew that the Chinese people suffered a lot of hardships during the construction of Northa American trans continental railways and that a lot of them died. I did not know that 4000 out of about 17,000 Chinese that worked on the Canadian Railways lost their lives and that a lot of the people came from Fujian province. Some of the exhibits had English translations, but it would have been even more interesting if the descriptions of all the exhibits were in bioth Chinese and English.
