We came on a 3D2N trip from SH. Xiamen is just crowded, from Gulangyu to all the major spots in the city (Xiamen University included) at least an hour worth of wait. Anyway, back to the hotel...
The check-in was smooth and friendly, we had a staff (Eleven) - all smiles. The room itself is modern and we like the balcony overseeing the garden below, the air is fresh and it does get windy late in the afternoon. (you will sleep very very well)
The breakfast, simple and healthy, decent variety. I thought the venue is under-staff at times because after 9am, I notice it took them quite a while to replenish the food. (waited 30 minutes for the cold milk)
The dinner - variety isnt there at all but we were very happy with the freshness of the seafood and roast. The only downside was the house wine selection, we were told they wont open a new bottle just to cater for one order (makes sense) Service from the staff - Mickey, Janet and a gentleman (from Lebanon) - not only smiles but genuine top class cutomer experience.
The only downside is the lack of taxis otherwise, highly recommend this hotel.
I am a fan!
