I pre-booked this hotel via internet and left instruction that I'll be arriving at around 10pm. When I arrived at this hotel at around 10:30pm, the room is still not available. Apparently, I heard they sublet the room out to a guest who wanted an hourly rate room. I knew it becuase I overheard the reception talking about it. I had to wait until 11pm before I got my room.

Next, the room does not have any heating even though it's 13C to 15C outside. But the bed was a real killer. It's hard as a rock. It's so hard when I stand on the bed, it doesn't even sunk in. How's that for a comfortable night sleep!!! The baths tubs are old and dirty and in need of a serious scrub. The baths tubs are old and dirty and in need of a serious scrub. When I check wth the reception if I could change the room she mentioned that all beds are the same and that the hotel is fully booked.

The business centre are also less than helpful. I wanted to change my flight to an earlier one and was told by the reception to approach the business centre for help. But to my surprise, the business centre manager mentioned that unless I bought the ticket from Fuzhou, she cannot help me. She doesn't even know where I could go to get the ticket changed myself. Tell me... the hotels are here to service travellers.. and certainly you when one travel to Fuzhou, one had to have bought the ticket from somewhere else right? I just could not understand the logic.

So, unless you enjoy sleeping on the floor and non-existant service, you will NOT want to stay in this hotel.
