The only two things I can give a thumbs up on this hotel is the Internet service and the laundry service. I delayed my review of this hotel hoping things would get better, they only got worse. The first thing you notice is the sour smell of the room. The cleaning people are obviously using dirty sour rags to wipe down the furniture and bathroom. The walls are thin so you always hear noises from next door. The plumbing in the tub backs up and the toilet won't quit running. The restaurant is probably the worst I've tried in Punta Arenas so don't waste your time and money. If all you want is good Internet(which can be hard to find), this hotel may not disappoint you but other than that it's pretty bad. Best comparison would be a Motel 8 in the U.S?

I stayed here during my marathon in november to the antarctica called the ice marathon, while we wait for good weather to fly to tbe south pole. The rooms are huge location is walking distance to the town center. There are rooms facing the ocean but they can be quite noisy as it along the main road. Horje the front desk is very efficient but he works the midnight shift . He seems to be the only person who speaks fluent english.
Try to get pay your bills early as they are pretty slow, except Horje the efficient one.

Breakfast was included, wifi free,

Stayed here for a number of nights and had a pleasant enough stay. Nothing wrong with this hotel but nothing really stood out either. Nice large rooms, good size bathrooms, good hot water, comfortable beds, some rooms have nice views across the water. Rooms a little old and tired but comfortable enough. Location is good, short walk to the centre of town. There is not a lot to see in Punta and I guess most travelers who stay here ate on their way to somewhere else (Antarctica, Torres del Paine, etc).

Free wifi was provided (ok quality, not great), rate also included breakfast which was fine. Ate at the hotel restaurant for dinner one night, food was acceptable but again nothing special. Good range of television channels available.

Staff were helpful but front desk was frustrating, sometimes there were not enough people on duty. Initial room bookings were also frustrating, I know some people had trouble getting prompt replies from the hotel.

Overall I was happy with my stay, an unremarkable hotel but a convenient and comfortable option in Punta Arenas.

They have a good heating which is very important in Punta Arenas but the hair dryer was very bad though.
