The door to my room was charming, real thin wood and allowed the huge echo of footsteps from the hall. Someone marched up and down the hall throughout the night. My room was right beside to breakfast room so at 6:30 am the chopping and blending clatter of dishes were an effective wake-up call.

My room had a beautifully restored bathroom, tiles etc, but the carpet in the sleeping area was ancient worn and stained. The room was more run down than the hall, which has interesting photos of old Patagonia.

A convenient downtown location right opposite the main plaza. Good restaurants and bus station within walking distance. Had a twin room towards front and on reception level which meant a little noisy. Room size and facilities were good. Breakfast was plentiful. Although towards top end of price range for me Chile is expensive and you get what you pay for.

Stayed here twice on the way to and from the Torres del Paine national park. Hotel was centrally located and handy for exploring the town centre.

Rooms were comfortable and bathrooms were great, nice to have plenty of hot water after the Refugios in the park.

Great hotel to stay in whilst you are passing through Punta Arenas though breakfast options were a bit limited.

Very well situated, at a corner of the main plaza. Probably will be a little noisy during week days.
Rooms are quite good, but the bathroom needs serious improvement.
Breakfast is included, and it was a really good.
Staff was very friendly and helpful
Does not have any parking

Room Tip: Try a corner room either at the third or fourth floor, as the have better view

Hotel was obviously once very grand or a very grand family house. Now looking its age and very frayed around the edges but has a certain charm. Having said that we had a very comfortable large room (there are different categories) which had every thing we could wish for. Staff were very friendly and helpful and it is obviously popular with Chileans -it is very family friendly. Breakfast was good with a cooked breakfast available as well. At least you should not go hungry. Location is great right in centre of town which surprisingly was not that noisy. Hotel does not have a restaurant but there are numerous possibilities in any direction. Punta Arenas does not appeal to everyone - we found it strangely interesting and worth the short visit. Not overtly touristy which is nice. If you are after a Marriot/Holiday Inn type hotel this is not for you
Booking essential in high season

Room Tip: Choose a superior room
