In desperate need of some non-bland cuisine in Punta Arenas, my friends and I were drawn in by the chili peppers on the placard hanging outside the hole in the wall. It figures we would have to try Peruvian cuisine in Chile in order to finally get some flavorful heat in our dishes.
Fortunately this place did not disappoint. The chicken with yellow sauce was just like Indian yellow curry (medium hot) and the stuffed red peppers was able to satisfy my need for heat.
Our server was terrific and personable, offering recommendations despite the obvious language barrier and lack if experience with South American food lingo.
In short, the restaurant was clean, the food was prepared to perfection, and the service was terrific. Highly recommended.
