“nice try, but unfriendly waitress and average food without salt”
Reviewed February 10, 2014

unfriendly, unmotivated service. we feel like disturbing the staff.
appetiters can only be ordered if main dish is selected as well. king crab with avocado was good, salad was fresh, but salmon with fried potatoes tasted old and boring. price ok.

“Excellent Hidden Treasure”
Reviewed February 18, 2013

As other reviewers have said this restaurant is easily over looked as it is slightly off the beaten track but not far from the center. The building fits in well to its surroundings and is popular with locals. We went there earlyish (early by SA standards) and had a very good meal. Salsas, fish in two different styles and a nice bottle of beer. Service was very prompt and courteous which may have been helped by the early hour. Cost was very reasonable for a good standard of food and I would recommend/go there again, like a shot. Not much English but sufficient to be helpful (they guided us to the local laundry) and take and deliver an accurate food order. Open lunchtime as well as in the evening they have a good wine list too.

“Old fashioned quality”
Reviewed January 12, 2013

Tucked away in a residential area not far from Plaza de Armas, this restaurant could easily be overlooked. That would be a pity as it offers fresh fish and seafood at reasonable prices served in an old fashioned, low key way. The atmosphere is reminiscent of central Europe circa 1980, with polite, correct service and rather dated furnishings. The king crab came in a generous portion with mayonnaise which was slightly less convincing. Good for a relaxed lunch or dinner.

“Good service and great food”
Reviewed April 7, 2012

The restaurant is within short walking distance from the main square. It has simple older furnishing and decoration. The food was excellent. Staff was very attentive and helpful. Service was fast and professional. There were many dishes on the menu. For Patagonia, the restaurant was an excellent value. This was one of the best restaurants on my trip in Patagonia. I recommend it.
