“Good Atmosphere and Food”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 22, 2012 via mobile

You can tell when a chef tries to put his mark on his creation and this one certainly did. I had sliced avocado and palm hearts served on butter lettuce for starters. For my entree I had a nice steak with hollandaise sauce, baked potato and a small dish of thinly cut veggies in a mild ginger sauce that was great. I had two glasses of house Cabernet to wash it all down. The service was unusually good for this area and the tab came to about $31 US. This restaurant is worth going back to.

“If you are a foody into strange foods, you will love this place!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 12, 2012

We ate here our last night in Punta Arenas. Well prepared, excellent food with fresh ingredients. We started the meal with an outstanding sea weed salad, my wife had a Guanaco(local camel) dish, and I had the Beaver. Both dishes were out standing. Excellent and friendly service. You must dine in this restuarant if you are a foody into strange and tasty foods.

“Creative variation on the pastel del choco”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 28, 2012

This is a lovely little restaurant, there is a decorative stove in the dining area so I got the welcome feeling of eating from a home kitchen. I got there for lunch and I had the lobster pastel del choco which is usually made with meat. The chef made this delicious variation and I love it. There are also wild game on the menu. They had a great wine list too. The chef came out and talked to guests and the staff is very attentive.

“Lovely place”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 18, 2012

Excellent food, great wine, unique interior and nice staff. I would go eat there right now if I weren't in Europe. By the way: I went there in 2008 but tripadvisor won't let me choose that year.

“Eat the sights you see”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 4, 2012

After working for four months in Los Torres del Paine national park and seeing all of the local wild animals on a daily basis (guanaco, caiquen, nandu....) we knew we had to jump at any opportunity to eat them and see what the pumas have been enjoying. This was the only restaurant in town we could find that serves all that and more. There was no body there when we arrived because this was the first day in about two months it had been open since so much of the town was damaged in the flood. The food was fantastic and the service was very good. Our waitress was very nice and we chatted for about and hour after finishing our meal. For the carnivore in you, try the Tierra appetizer. The guanaco leg stew is perfect with a good cab and the crab canilone was also superb.
