There is not much to see there except the history. If you have a day at Ouerto natales to spend it is an option but there are many other things which are more interesting to do

It was an interesting story and an interesting large cave. I wouldn't suggest going out of the way to visit the cave but it is very close to the road and it is one of the few things to see on the road from Puerto Natales to Torres del Paine.

it's a large cave with no much to see. costs about $8 usd. check it out if you're bored or really into paleontology. more noteworthy is the cafe across the street that has amazing views and reasonable prices.

We enjoyed the tour to the cave, but even more, we enjoyed going back and walking across the countryside to the additional caves.

We did not realize this was on our itinerary as we headed to Torres del Paine but it turned out to be a fascinating stop to see the place where a giant sloth of 14,000 or more years old was found. Christian guided us through the cave and provided us with the history of this area, this creature and the Norwegian explorer who found his remains The Milodon is the symbol of Puerto natales.
