It is a very nice place for pretty evenings after long-day tours. The reseption is nice, as well as bar staff. The room was excellent countryside style. Unforgettable views! Must stay!

We spent two nights here on the way in/out of Torres del Paine. The hotel is built into the hillside overlooking the sound about 30 minutes walk from the town.
The staff was very helpful.
The rooms were large and clean and the resturant was very good.
Wifi is available only in the lobby area and it get very hot in the evening in the dining room as the sun sets but the views are incredible.
Just be careful getting on an off the bed (the base is concrete - could hurt your legs)

We spent one night here to recover after a 4-day stay in Torres del Paine. The receptionist spoke English and was incredibly nice and helpful to us in what to do in Puerto Natales (this must have been a new or different receptionist from the one referenced in past reviews). The rooms were very clean and the overall design of the hotel made our short stay a very nice one.

My family and I visited this hotel in April.
The design is really cool, built into the hillside with grass roofs and walls, it is unobtrucive and strikes the right balance between ecology and modern comforts. Sadly from the very start, it was apparent that the recepcionist was woefully inexperienced for her job. We stood around in the hallway while she was attending to other guests for almost 15 minutes. She could have greeted us, said she was busy and offered us a seat at the bar and a drink while we waited.
The many questions we had about the park and town were answered unsmilingly and in some cases with the wrong information. Her demeanour was unsmiling, and whilst I am sure she was doing her best, simply was not ready to serve in a hotel of that quality. There was one music playing at her desk and 3 m away at the bar, a completely different music!
The food was fine, and barmen friendly and for the price and location I would definately reccommend it to visitors in the area.

We spent a few nights here. The hotel is built into a hillside and the unique design approach extends to the public spaces (e.g., dining room) and to the individual rooms. We found ours to be quite large.

Definitely worth a stay, if you need a place on the way to or from Torres del Paine. Also convenient to stay here if your destination is El Calafate, Argentina. Breakfast is ample.
