My wife and I went to this restaurant after checking on tripadvisor and perhaps we had too high expextations. Anyway the owners were welcoming and warm, we were surprised to find many pastas in the menu which we didn't try. I had the lamburger (huge and delicious with homemade bread) and my wife had the salmon (very good). If you don't like pepper whatch out when he'll come and grind it over your plate...he'll just do it as a kind of final touch!

We found this small restaurant by chance in Puerto Natales whilst back packing and trekking near there. The menu choice was fairly small but everything was excellent and home cooked with lovely extras like home made herb scones before your meal arrived. Main courses were excellent and brownies with stem ginger to die for. Host spoke no English but had a menu translated intoEnglish so that worked fine. Run by a couple we thought. Both apparrently cooked. The man served. We ate there three times! I highly recommend this small low key restaurant . Prices were very good and wine cheap even by Chilean standards.

We popped in to Café Kaiken for a bite to eat upon our arrival in Puerto Natales. It was recommended to us by our hostel.

The food was very well priced and extremely filling, there was some confusion of the removal of an ingredient from a dish that was ordered, but other than that it was great!
Had we spent more time in Puerto Natales, we would have returned.

We had lunch and returned for dinner the same day... Absolutely great food. The risotto was perfect, the salmon was done just right, great burger and the Panna cotta was great. Highly recommended.

By far the best food I have had in Chile, and perhaps the best lamb burger I have had in my life! You must eat at Cafe Kaiken if you are ever in Puerto Natales. The food is delicious the people and wonderful, HIGHLY Recommended!
