In the tour hired a full day Torres del Paine, visited the Grey Glacier. We walked about 30 minutes until a lookout to see the blocks of ice from the glacier released. Landscape that impressed!

The boat is like a miniature icebreaker enabling you to get very close to the Glacier. The Glacier was really good blue that day as it was sunny although a bit cold in the open air. Excellent pisco sours given out when up close to the glacier.

This is the only thing I got to see while at Torres del Paine due to the freaky weather while I was there. You can see how global warming is destroying the glacier and that is disconcerting. The glacier is beautiful and won't be around forever to see, so if you are in Chile make the trip to Torres del Paine and to Glacier Grey.

After being in Patagonia; this is a relatively small glacier. You walk across a hanging bridge to reach the glacier bed. You see the glacier and the huge amount of debris and sand it left as it receded. It was a lovely, peaceful setting.
