The property is architecturally rich, blending the old packing plant with the new hotel wing. The juxtaposition of the new and modern with the old and tastefully restored was wonderfully done.
We stayed here for four nights and did the full board option. We took advantage of the excursions, doing horseback riding on two days and the full day, 8 hour hike to the base of the Torres del Paine. The hike was amazing and we had a great guide. While we were exhausted from it, it was one of the most memorable experiences we have had on a hike.
The food was very good and plentiful. The breakfast buffet offered a wide range of options, including hot options. Lunch could be taken either in the bar or off the menu in the restaurant. We did both and were quite pleased. The dinner menu offered many great options, including grilled meats. The wine selection was good, not stellar, but not super cheap either.
The staff was super attentive and helpful with everything. We had massages and the spa staff and facility is very nice.
There is no gym, which I understand. They want you to get your activities out in the beauty of Patagonia.
