I read mixed reviews of Afrigonia but after eating there I was impressed by the range and quality of the food, and by their customer service. I chose salmon ceviche with lemon, coconut milk, spices and mango (yum) and then grilled salmon with prawns, saffron and coconut cream. Wouldn't normally have chosen 2 salmon dishes, but the fresh local salmon are outstanding. Friends had steak (excellent) and prawns and squid fried in chick pea batter with coriander sauce.
We shared an excellent bottle of Carmenere which pushed the price up a bit but we were in 'treat mode'. We left the restaurant agreeing that Afrigonia is, indeed, special.
