Description: Inspired by the natural beauty of Patagonia and the strong craft ales of California, Baguales embodies two worlds in one glass. Brewed in a true "artisanal" style per the strict Reinheitzgebot Purity Law, our unfiltered and unpasteurized ales are brewed with local malted barley, hops imported from the Pacific Northwest, yeast, and some of the best water on the planet. This strong and natural ale, worthy of the wild surroundings that inspired its creation, soon caught on and was the first true draft beer offered throughout Torres del Paine National Park.

“Micro brew worth the stop!”
Reviewed April 8, 2013

Definitely a good place to enjoy home grown beer and a delicious sandwich/burger. Very relaxed environment, friendly staff who showed us the micro beer operation. Located right off the plaza it is easy to find, prices are fair and definitely a must stop if you are looking for a good gathering spot coming off the trail or just getting together.

Very good house beer (both rubia and negra). Good variety of food on the menu. Juicy burgers. Generous portions. Relaxed pub atmosphere. The service was friendly and quick. Would recommend.

“Best post-trekking meal!”
Reviewed April 2, 2013 via mobile

After our five day trek at Torres del Paine we ate at Baguales and LOVED it! We had two pints of beer, hot wings, and a la negra burger. This meal was a perfect treat after a long hike. The staff was incredibly accommodating and friendly - we would recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a nice and fun brewery atmosphere.

“Great beer and ambience, pretty good food”
Reviewed March 31, 2013

This place was our choice for our group of five's first meal back in "civilisation" after the W trek. The thought of the kilo of chips with chicken, bacon and cheese topping washed down with pitchers of house brewed beer kept us going on the difficult last bits of the trek, and it totally hit the spot as we hoped it would.

I was really craving fresh food after a week of eating cereal bars, dried noodles and salami so I ordered a salad which was a big portion of fresh, crunchy veggies which brought me back to life! The others enjoyed their burgers.

The only weak point was the home made BBQ sauce which sounded great on the menu but tasted of little more than honey when it arrived.

“Great Microbrewery, best papas fritas I have had in ages”
Reviewed March 20, 2013

The in house beer is amazing, though demand sometimes outstrips production. You can see where they make the beer in the back of the courtyard (This pub has a courtyard!). We even managed to sit and chat with the brewmaster while drinking his beer!
