An excellent place for a post-trek meal. Our group of five shared garlic bread, three pizzas, two lasagnes and a big sweet pizza as dessert - we all left completely satisfied, stuffed and happy.

Easily the best and most authentic Italian style pizzas I've had in South America. I was ready to be disappointed as the "authentic" pizzas we ate in Brazil and Argentina were like thick cardboard with dodgy toppings, but they know what they are doing at Mesita Grande. We went at around 9pm and were told we may have to wait 30 mins but we were seated within 5. Would definitely recommend!

Very good woodoven italian style pizzas. Nice to find a place where they know how to make a good pizza to spoil you aft the w trekking!

A great place to eat excellent clay-oven pizza!! An very elaborate choice in pizzas, very cosy (even a bit loud - people seem to have to tell each other a lot of stories when visiting Patagonia) but great atmosphere!

We visited Mesita Grande twice...once at the start of our visit and once after our 9 day backpack trek. Both times I got pizza that was fabulous (I recommend the garlic and tomato...the name is something about vampires) and my wife got pasta that was great. Go here a bit before 1pm to try and avoid the lunch crowd, this place gets packed.

The long tables and benches of the dining area sparks conversations between strangers. Food was great for the price and pisco sours were quite good. My companions and I had a great night.
