The artwork consists of various recycled machine/auto/industrial parts welded together in human form. It is at the center of the main roundabout coming north out of Akwa, south out of Deido, and east of the Boniberi (Wouri) bridge. Some Cameroonian wits claim it is the only recycled waste in the entire country!
You have to like this type of industrial art--and lots of people do--but I really can't recommend it for a special trip. If you are in Douala and headed across the Boniberi Bridge, then check it out; otherwise, you life will not be any less meaningful if you miss it.
Also, if you stay at the Villa des Fees B&B (reviewed by me elsewhere in trip advisor), you will have to pass it coming from downtown Douala to the hotel.
Note that the Deido roundabout where this art sits is among the busiest in Douala...if you come here during rush hour you will have plenty of time to see it because your car will move around the circle at a snails pace. Probably best to take in its "beauty" at another time.
