Certificate of Excellence
Price range: $9 - $23
Description: Le Bel Air' is a bistronomical restaurant that celebrates the two cultures its owners hold dear. The exterior pays tribute to the wonderful country that is Cambodia. The many terraces and the luscious garden remind the visitor of the gorgeous and infinitely diverse local flora. The air-conditioned interior gives a playful nod to our friendly Brussels brasseries, with a relaxed and delightful mood. Xavier and his kitchen staff prove that the Belgian and Franco-Belgian cuisine is a world worth discovering, a culinary experience that will erase all bad lunchroom memories. Xavier's wife Johane and their associate Thibaut work the floor to take care of your every need, giving advice and telling you all about our dishes and beverages. These include a large range of Belgian beers that are nowhere else to be found in Cambodia, nectars from the gods that will dazzle the layman and fill the connoisseur with homesickness. At 'Le Bel Air - A Belgian Atmosphere' we're looking forward to sharing our cosy and cheerful ambiance with you. Join us for an evening that's out of the ordinary.

Actually i did not have dinner there since a while.
Then, i went there last week for the mussels weekend.
It was just excellent,
I grew up by the sea, so i can be picky about mussels or seafood.
They propose many variations.
Classical "mariniere or
Creamy, or with blue cheese,
I got that one.warmly recommanded
Great moment.

This restaurant was actually only 100m from our hotel but both are not easy for Tuk Tuk drivers to find. We normally eat Asian when in Asia but after 2 weeks of rice and noodles we fancied something different. We had the todays specials for starters which were excellent Crab Dumplings in a really nice sauce. For main course I had an Angus steak with pepper sauce and the best Chips East of Brussels. The restaurant specialises in Belgian Beer. Watch out most of it is 8% alcohol! All round a super little restaurant offering something a little different.

The two belgium restaurant owners knows their business very well as the meals they serve are comparable to the top tier restaurants in belgium.
The bier selection is quite good and is well design for the cambodian climate.
As a belgium guy I would totaly recommand and above all they are very welcoming

We went to this restaurant on a friday night, it's not easy to find but we did'nt regret it at all. We were lucky to see that they have fresh mussels on the weekend and it was absolutely delicious. With a large choice of Belgian beer we had the feeling to be in a restaurant in the middle of Brussels for one night. The home made french fries are a must.

The lovely couple who own the restaurant (husband in the kitchen, wife at the frontside), are really friendly and attentive to our needs.

Delicious food and amazing service, out of the noisy center, we can only highly recommend this place.

We've spend an amazing night at Le Bel Air. The service was very friendly and polite. The choice of beers is amazing. We wanted a different food then asian for once and all our excpectations have been fulfilled. We had the gratineted mussels for starter and after the stew and the dory fish, all was to die for with a special mention for the amazing chocolate mousse to close this excellent dinner.

We enjoyed to talk with the chef at the end who wanted to know if the dinner was good.

Owned by a nice young Belgian couple, we definitely recommend !
