I will say if you have booked here for a relatively short trip you will be fine, its not a 'hell hole' but it certainly wasnt what we needed after a long tour and for a five night stay.
We arrived late to a manic reception of cases, checkers in and checkers out of many nationalities. We were in a room as far away from reception as was possible, no smoking rooms available but with a balcony 600mm deep and a rail 1metre for the use therof ( not in my lifetime methinks ) . The air conditioning was...err... 'struggling'.
The rooms were clean but relatively basic with decent bath and shower.

My wife knows I need to wake slowly in a morning, I am not at my best. Breakfast, well, shall we call it 'international scrap and grab for food as though we are in a famine.' buffet.
I thought check in was manic but this was plain annoying. Had a cup of coffee served to a table that we had to share with a nice couple from Stockport and decided that instead of causing an international incident by going for egg on toast when experiencing morning stress I would go and have a shower and checkout.
We did. We went to the Victoria and what a marvellous difference it was !

PS, the pool is miniscule, and from what I could see had only about 25 sunbeds. It maybe your not here to holiday in the sun but trust me after a day in the heat its nice to ... well relax.

Stayed 4D/3N at this hotel. The staff (receptionists, maids, bellboys, waiters, security, etc.) were all friendly and helpful. The lobby is nicely decorated and scented. The buffet breakfast is good with a lot of choices (except for the fruits-only 4 kinds). The swimming pool is adequate, although quite small and crowded. Our room on the 3rd floor however was not so pleasant - the aircon took several hours to cool, and there was no view from the balcony. Overall however, our stay at the hotel was satisfactory and adequate.

Room Tip: Don't turn off the aircon when going out of the room. Aircon takes several hours to cool the roo...

I am deeply concerned to hear that you experienced an issue with air con and kindly note that A Professional technician from international air con company has been called and confirmed to ahead of yearly maintenance earlier than schedule. This is a matter we take extremely seriously, and please be assured that the appropriate action has been taken with the relevant team members involved.

Good hotel with refurbished bedroom and comfortable beds. Helpful staff and good facilities with pool. The cafe had a nice 'snack menu' for lunches and a wide variety of food for breakfasts. Not a new hotel but serves its purpose as a base for viewing 'the sites' well.

The staff is what makes this hotel wonderful. They are very obliging and ready to help and make the effort to know our name and greet you by your name within a couple of hours of arrival. Rooms are very clean and welcoming. Universal electrical convertors are attainable, which is great. Location is great and the daily breakfast is worth staying at the hotel for. This hotel was recommended by my son who stayed there a couple of years ago and I am glad I stayed there too.

Stayed here for 4 nights following a 10 day tour of Vietnam. Lovely quiet, pretty hotel. Very clean and friendly staff. Rooms modern and fresh with all usual amenities. Didn't eat in restaurant other than breakfast as its 5 mins into town where there are any number of excellent restaurants. Town is very lively and noisy. Big night markets although if you have time some of the boutique shops are lovely and still v reasonably priced.
We hired a tuk tuk each day for 15 dollars and driver took us wherever we wanted to go including trips out into the countryside. He also recommended cheap clean places to eat en route. His name is Mr Vanna and is highly recommended. Tuk tuks are just outside the hotel entrance - ask for him by name and tell him that julie and Linda say hello!

Room Tip: We had a room overlooking courtyard and pool . Quiet as a mouse

this hotel is perhaps a little bit dated - however it is not at all shabby and it is well looked after. our room was fine, nothing special but had everything we needed. Plenty of choice for breakfast. Option to sit outside for food/drinks. Pool area small but well maintained and great for a swim after a long day at the temples. Location -great for temples, only 10 mins by tuk tuk into Siam Reap centre for $2. staff very friendly. Overall it was perfect for a short stay to see the sights

Myself and my husband have just left this hotel after 4 nights to fly on to Vietnam. We had the end room (nearest the pool) number 429 on the 4th floor and never heard a sound on any of the nights. The room was big enough and had everything we needed. We ate in the hotel and went into Pub Street later for drinks every night. We found the food in the hotel of good quality and reasonably priced. Tuk-tuk ride was $2 each way (they ask for $3 but just say $2 and they will accept this)
The room did have a bit of an unusual smell at times and the water smelt and looked a bit rusty but we loved Siem Reap and this hotel and would recommend it to anyone

Room Tip: Higher level and facing the atrium (swimming pool end)
