We stayed at the Lotus Lodge for 6 nights. We booked a deluxe room which was comfortable and spacious. The best thing about the Lotus Lodge was the staff. Everyone was very friendly and helpfull (especially Colin).
If I would ever come back to Cambodia I would certainly stay at the Lotus Lodge again. For future guest I have 2 tips:
- When taking a tuktuk make sure you tell the driver you stay at the Lotus Lodge, because at the other side of town is a place called Lotus Hotel which has nothing to do with it.
- The Lotus Lodge has a free shuttle bus everynight into town. Use this, because there are a lot of options for nice food in the area the bus takes you to.

I have just returned from a stay at this place. I found the centre of Siem Reap pretty busy, and definately not a relaxing way to end a long, hot day of sight-seeing...

The hotel is tucked away off a quiet track..
Plus points:
Really quiet (only the noise of the toads/crickets), garden/villa feel to it.
Lovely pool. good food, quick service in the restaurant area.
Actually easy to get into town (I cycled iy no problem. Alternatively they have a free shuttle service at night)..
Most of all, the staff are really friendly, super helpful and seem to all get along really well with each other.
Can pay through your nose for a fancy Ritz hotel, or be sensible, save some of your pennies/give them away to a good cause, and stay at this lovely, peaceful little gem : )

Great hotel. Lovely pool. Free wifi. Free shuttle bus to/from town center. Very good restaurant. They will also book all kinds of transport/tours. I have absolutely no complaints. What made the place even more special was the lovely attitude and helpfulness of the staff. We made friends with Kunthea, a lovely young Khmer girl who works the main desk. It was her day off and she asked us if she could come to Angkor Wat with us. We had a lovely day with her and he took her out to eat in Siem Reap that night at a restaurant of her chosing.

This is a lovely hotel, tucked away down a little road, it has all you need - nice clean rooms, pool, good food, helpful staff....My husband and I really enjoyed staying here. We enjoyed the company of Andre the owner and his lovely wife Lilly. It's likely I'm coming back to Siem Reap in a couple of month's time with my sister and will definitely stay here again.
