Very friendly and helpfull staff, big swimming pool, clean rooms, breakfast included, free WiFi, Free transfer to and from the town center at night. And all this for a very reasonable price. What else do you need?

This is a lovely hotel, tucked away down a little road, it has all you need - nice clean rooms, pool, good food, helpful staff....My husband and I really enjoyed staying here. We enjoyed the company of Andre the owner and his lovely wife Lilly. It's likely I'm coming back to Siem Reap in a couple of month's time with my sister and will definitely stay here again.

My only request was to have aircon, should have added aircon that works. The room temp was 35c and we were told it would cool down, after 2 hours it was 32c, we were told they would get someone to fix it. When we returned at 10.00pm it still wasn't fixed. After several chats with a nice girl at the front desk the owner agreed to reduce our room to $30.00 a night, I would have prefered to move but at 11.00pm it was too late to go anywhere. They always turn the power off when you leave so if your aircon is a bit dodgy insist that they leave the power on all day. Also as the power is connected to the fridge all your drinks heat up and the ice melts. Our bathroom was very small but adequate. The lighting is very dim, hard to read by. We were lucky and got a great tuk tuk driver, we got him for 2 days and also to take us to the airport. Place is right out of town too far to walk so you rely on them to organise you. Breakfast was good if you got there early.

We recently spent 4 weeks at Lotus Lodge whilst doing volunteer teaching in Siem Reap. As 'mature' travellers we have stayed in a variety of accommodation, some of it very luxurious, but we can honestly say we have never been happier than at Lotus Lodge. The relaxed atmosphere and friendly staff help make it a great place to stay.

Although it is a little way from the tourist centre of town, it is well worth the 3$ tuk-tuk ride to be in such a peaceful place. The surrounding commune is typically Cambodian but everyone is friendly and it feels totally safe. (no sign of the wild dogs!!!) We frequently took advantage of the bicycles on offer to go around the town.

The rooms at the Lodge are comfortable and quiet - free wireless internet and multi-channel TV are useful. The pool and surrounding area make a great place to escape the Cambodian heat and the food served in the restaurant compares well with similar on offer in town.

Andre and Lily, the owners are warm, well-informed and have a genuine love of their country. We certainly hope to return very soon.

We stayed here as part of a large cycle group and we all really enjoyed this hotel. It had lovely greenery, a large salt pool where you could swim at night and very decent meals. The room (twin) was big enough and had a small en suite bathroom. There was free internet and lots of information in the lobby. Lotus Lodge is a little hard to find the first time as it's down a dirt track but actually not far from town and on the right side for the temples (you can cycle everywhere anyway on their free bikes). Overall, a very comfortable hotel with everything you could want at a reasonable price.
