Pool was very well maintained and large enough to actually swim laps for a little exercise. Rooms are clean and staff was exceptionally friendly. We had a little mix-up with reservations just a few days before our trip to Cambodia. The problem was taken care of very fast by the owner-manager. The big drawback was the lack of decent bikes. There is however many bike rentals in the area for $1 to $3 a day. Many tour options can be booked at the hotel desk. They are very economical and easy to set up. It is probably a good idea to have a guide when you are on a bike as the traffic is crazy with tuk-tuks, motorbikes, cars and lots of other bikes.

Room Tip: Sections 100 and 200 are the best landscaped. All are fine with no excessive noise.

Lotus Lodge is very nice, the pool and bar area have a resort feel, the food in the restaurant is terrific and the breakfast is substantial.

We selected it because Lotus Lodge advertised free bikes and we wanted to ride to the temples. The staff balked at us riding that far and I suppose it was for good reason. The bikes are really lousy.

Room Tip: Rooms in the 100 and 200 section face a nice courtyard. Section 300 - not so great.

Me and my girlfriend stayed here during our 3 day visit to the Angkor region and loved every bit of our stay. The owner Javier happened to be in town and is a friendly and helpful Canadian who obviously cares a lot about his hotel and its guests. A lot of time and money has been invested in perfecting the experience for the guests and improvements are happening every day.
Look forward to coming back here again!

This hotel is 1. outdated and 2. lacks adequate management. The high score can't be justified; there're a lot of nice alternatives in Siem Reap. The staff and drivers were very nice, but that's common in Cambodia.

This place is in the middle of nothing, so don't expect to go out anywhere in walking distance, however they offer their own tuk-tuk service to take you to the city for free.
The rooms were very comfortable and clean, the staff was friendly, the swimming pool is just great, the whole hotel is well decorated and designed and they can arrange all the tours for you or recommend what is better for you if you decide to do it on your own.
The restaurant is good but not excellent, they don't have too many choices.
