We loved the Sarai Spa Resort and stayed 7 nights, 2 adults and 2 teenagers. Room set up worked well for us traveling with older teenagers (17 & 15).

The hotel is exactly as represented in the photos and the pool is fabulous. We would definitely rebook/recommend to friends to use this hotel if staying in Siem Reap.

Staff are exceptionally helpful and do everything in their power to ensure you have a wonderful stay.

We really enjoyed the breakfast and when we did the sunrise tour of Angkor Wat the hotel provided a picnic breakfast which had a number of options in it to suit most tastes.

We actually really liked the location being only a short trip from Pub street ($2 by tuk tuk) but not too close so that you did not get the noise.

There is tuk tuk rank right outside the hotel so very easy to get a tuk tuk whenever needed but if you are uncomfortable organising yourself the hotel staff are more than happy to organise for you.

There are a number cheap restaurants worth trying near the hotel if you want an alternative to dinning in or going to pub street, we recommend Khmer Grill which is up the road from the hotel.

Live as king and queen for three days and nights - from the stunning architectural features of the lobby to the majestic Moroccan-themed courtyard pool to the grand double-height bay window nooks in the room to the stunning smiles and attentiveness of all staff and management - Sarai Resort is one of our all time favorites. Details such as homemade papaya and mango jams at breakfast, complimentary after-dinner snacks of candied yams and coconut cake and the exotic flower aromas in the entrance and lobby bathroom are examples of how Sarai in Cambodia continues to charm us.

Room tip: Definitely go for the presidential pool suite if it's available - the private pool and seating area is all stone and tile and as big as the room itself.

The hotel really is a joy to stay in. We were lucky enough to get upgraded and the room was perfect. The pool area is gorgeous and the staff attentive. The western breakfasts are a little “samey”, basically variations of eggs, but there is also a substantial Asian breakfast menu. Overall, I would recommend this hotel to anyone. Sensational value for money and a terrific place to stay.

My partner and I stayed for 9 nights, and we can’t recommend it more!! Everything was excellent!! We surely would recommend any family or friend to stay in this Hotel when visiting Siem Reap.

To start with, the hotel contacted us by email straight after booking to schedule the free pick-up/drop-off from and to the airport (very kind when visiting Cambodia for the first time). They also sent us the catalogue with all the guided tours that they offer from the hotel (they are also very open to bring you anywhere you wish as long as you give 1 day notice). We booked 1 day to Angkor, 1 day to Koh Ker & Beng Mealea, 1/2 day to Kampong Khleang and 1 day to Battambang. All of them were awesome experiences with very kind and helpful drivers/guides. They drove us to some spots that were not even included in the tour, just because they were excited to show us around.

Facilities and staff in the Hotel also excellent. Staff knows who you are and what is your itinerary since the fist day you arrive (moment when you are received with a nice cocktail, by the way!). It was surprising to see that everyone within the staff was asking us about our previous day’s trip to “wherever it was” and/or asking if we needed help or transport with tomorrow’s activity of “whatever it was”. Also, hotel was EXCELLENTLY clean, they were cleaning rooms twice a day (morning and afternoon), and they always go cleaning when they are aware you are out on a trip or activity, they will always make sure not to bother you. Pool was clean, room also very clean, no problem at all with mosquitoes or anything like this, so on...

The breakfast was a very good experience as well! I expected the typical buffet breakfast but it wasn’t like this, instead, you get fresh tropical fruit, yogurt, croissants and bread with butter/jam, drinks and then, a menu where you can choose among a wide variety of dishes (both oriental and western). You will most likely be full with 1 of them, but you can get as many dishes as you wish and they are ALL awesome!! We had dinner in the hotel’s restaurant (Goat tree) a couple of times as well and again, food was awesome.

Lastly, we had a Traditional Khmer Massage in the hotel’s Spa and the experience was very good.

If you are in doubt, please don’t! Every penny was well worth!

A wonderful boutique little gem just 5 min from the night market and 15 min to the temple complexes via tuk tuk. Fantastic breakfast and dinner, both tastefully presented by ever smiling staff who are attentive and courteous. Most people venture to other restaurants to evening meal , the hotels very own Goats tree is superb, even better is the breakfast. I would definitely return and I would highly recommend this hotel to others.
