My partner and I stayed in their Suite Room for 4 night in February 2011 - and we are so glad we did. The room was huge with 3 seperate rooms - the sitting room with TV, the bedroom room with large four poster bed with mosquito net and large cupboard and then the bathroom which was the size of the bedroom with twin vanity, seperate shower and bath and also the toilet in its own room. Everything was spotlessly clean.
The service was great and breakfast was lovely for the price.
The location is down a side street about a 5 minute walk from Pub Street so is very quiet.
The staff were always smiling and very helpful about any advice needed. And also loved to chat to improve their english language skills.
The laundry was great - everything came back spotlessly clean and ironed and was very good value for money.
There is no free internet at this hotel, but very cheap internet cafes are close by.
Overally an excellent hotel for the price which I highly recommend staying at !

Location is fairly central..bit of a back alley to get to but its quiet. The rooms are nicely furnished with silk throws and the like. Bathrooms a little below par compared to the actual bedroom itself. but knowing where the money is going to makes it worth it. The best thing was the 3 course lunchtime meal. The dessert was outstanding...if i had more time, i would eat here only.

Great little hotel where the perfect service is made by students funded by a NGO.
The food is delicious as well and the service is really perfect and welcoming.

Our stay at Sala Bai was flawless. The room was comfortable, the staff were incredibly welcoming, attentive and friendly, and the restaurant downs stairs was superb.

And it's all for a good cause.

If you find yourself in Siem Reap, you need to stay here. There are only 4 rooms, so book if you can.

Sala Bai's accommodation was the highlight of my trip. I traveled around Laos and Cambodia for three weeks with a friend. Sala Bai's staff are friendly, ever-helpful and welcoming - they make you feel happy and welcome. The hotel is very clean, rooms are made up twice daily (a turn up and a turn down service), they provide advice and services re travel plans, and the cafe below serves fantastic food. The location was great too - one a not-so-busy road but easy access by walking or tuk tuk to the main eating and shopping areas. I recommend Sala Bai 100% to anyone - this hotel was great value!!!!
