“Lovely stay”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 14, 2013

We stayed at Viroth's Hotel for three nights (11-14 April). We had a wonderful stay: room was lovely and decorated with eye for detail, staff very attentive, wonderful roof top terrace for breakfast and early evening drinks. What you see at their website is what you get: you won't get disappointed! Location was just perfect: only a few minute walk to the night market and pub street but also nice bars at the other end of the street. We tried Viroth's Restaurant as well (two blocks down the road) and had amazing local food.

We have had a very relaxing weekend without the kids. Loved it very much and hope to see more of Cambodia one day.

We stayed here for 4 nights from 05 April and had a wonderful time. A little mixup re the airport pickup but this was quickly rectified with a free massage for us, nice touch. The staff are friendly and extremely helpful.

Breakfast was served upstairs open area and was plentiful. Only a 5-7 minute walk to pub street.

Overall a great stay.

Room Tip: We had room 7 which was recommended by others, good size room.

Lovely hotel in a quiet street away from main drag. The room was lovely ( we had room 7) however a little noisy early in the morning when people were up and down the staircase. Dissappointed that bar shut down after 10 pm but lovely little terrace on the top. Limited breakfast but was nice enough. Pool area small but very nice.

We loved siem reap and the Cambodian people are just lovely. I can't wait to come back one day.

i stayed next door to this hotel and could see down on it, so i checked it out. it is a lovely, small, quiet, boutique hotel perfectly located. it is not on the big main, stinky, noisy drag where the 5 star hotels are, but is tucked away on a quiet side street just 3 blocks from pub street where all the action is--including the fabulous market! i will stay here next time--a perfect place to get away from it all and truly relax after your day at the temples, but no taxi required to get back into the action come dinner-time. no restuarant, but people go to the hotel across the narrow st. very easy.

Stayed here 3 nights as part of a holiday in the far east and was definitely the right choice.

Small hotel with really friendly helpful service. We arrived early in the morning and they made up our room straight away for us. Room was perfect. Comfy bed, TV, desk, small balcony. Bathroom was semi open-plan to the bedroom so definitely more suited to couples.

Breakfast was up on the roof terrace. Tea/coffee, fruit juice, toast, fruit.. Could also get drinks and snacks up there during the day/evening.

Small pool but nice to lie by inbetween sightseeing.

Arranged a tuk tuk driver through the hotel who we used for our entire time there when seeing the temples who was really friendly and helpful. When just going to the centre of siem reap we tended to walk as 10 mins max although most people seemed to get tuk tuks.

Definitely eat at Viroth's restaurant (a few mins walk from the hotel). Book in advance though as we didn't the first night and it was full. Food was lovely and so reasonable

There are only 7 rooms in this establishment so it definitely feels intimate and is very quiet. The staff could not be more accommodating and the location is very good. As the purpose of our visit was to see the many temples near Siem Reap we were up very early on two mornings and the hotel provided us with delicious packed breakfasts, beautifully packed into little baskets and on the two occasions we ate breakfast at the hotel we were also very pleased, the pho being particularly good, however you do need to make your choice the night before so you're stuck with your decision which may not suit everyone. We made use of the pool which although small is perfect for cooling off in the heat and a good way to freshen up for the next temple visit. The market area of Siem Reap is probably a 10 minute walk at most, but as there's so much to look at the journey takes longer for frequent photo stops. And there are endless restaurants to choose for dinner, one of which is owned by the hotel and has the same name and we can also recommend eating there as it was excellent. And if walking is not for you, there is a constant supply of Tuk-tuks who will take you pretty much anywhere for very little money. So if you like small and personal, I couldn't recommend this hotel more highly.

Room Tip: We stayed in Room 7 which had a view of the pool and was pretty much unaffected by noise from any of...

This place is a little gem - its visually attractive, small and refined and quiet. The pool is just the place to relax after seeing the temples and the staff are charming and helpful. The room is modern and the walk in shower is great. Perfect for couples.
