“VERY impressed”

We came to Happy Ranch as experienced horse riders, and always liking a good ole hack wherever we go - its a great way of seeing the country - we have plenty of experience of riding operators. Happy Ranch definitely one of the best. Our horses were superb. I had an ex racehorse from Vietnam who wanted to really go, a joy to ride. Powerful and reactive. My wife also had a cracker. Well done Happy Ranch for not having the usual plodders. And what a way to see Cambodia. VERY VERY VERY VERY GOOD. And to Chey and Lucy, who were great hosts. 11/10!!!

“Great experience!”
Reviewed October 25, 2012

The road to Happy Range is very bumpy but its well worth the trip. Though my guide does not speak very good English, he still make his best effort to give me much information along the ride to the village. Overall, its a great experience!

“A great way to see the Cambodian countryside”
Reviewed October 21, 2012

2 adults and a teenager took the 4 hour tour from 8 - noon. It's definitely worth going as early in the mornin as possible to avoid the heat.

The horses were great -- very well groomed and clean. They felt safe to ride but weren't zombie trail horses. A tour guide and an escort came with us.

We liked traveling through the countryside, on roads and through the rice patties seeing old and new temples and pagodas and people near their houses and working in the fields. It was an activity we would definitely repeat.

“Fantastic way to get off the beaten track....”
Reviewed October 17, 2012

This was the second time that we have visited The Happy Ranch and we were as pleased as we were the first time.
This visit we opted for the 2 hour ride and requested to be taken on a different "trail" than last time. This was not a problem for them and we visited a different temple and were given the chance to go inside and sit with the monks. Very up close and personal and a side of "real Cambodia" that you generally miss if you just do the usual Ankor Wat circuit.
Our horses were fantastic and suited to our level of riding experience, and our guide (Chey?) was very knowlegable, friendly, happy and helpful.
Highly recommended.

“Amazing Adventure”
Reviewed October 13, 2012

My sister and I had no previous horse riding experience but after reading all the good reviews on this Horse Farm we were open to it on the last day of our trip. We took the 2 hour option which was 38USD per pax. Our ride lasted from 8 am to 10am around the scenic Siem Reap countryside. Our horses were gentle Cambodian breeds and our guides Khong and Soon Chea were very patient. An unconventional and unique way to enjoy the countryside as well as observe the lives of the villagers. Our trail included paddy fields, lotus ponds and occasionally someone's garden! The people were friendly and the weather was mild and lovely. Truly an unforgettable experience. Highly recommended.
