Took the private day tour + floating island tour with guide Sophal. Took us to all the main temples in an order that avoided the crowds(even in the low season). A highlight was the boat tour of the floating houses. Sophal and the driver had water and cold towels for us after every stop and were kind and attentive. A must do for people with only a day to visit Angkor Wat!

My friend and I did a one day tour through Angkor Guide Sam with our tour guide Sophal. We had an awesome experience; he took us through all of the major temples, as well as the floating village. He knew all the best spots to avoid the crowds and to find great photos. He also spoke excellent English and gave detailed explanations of everything we saw. He was extremely knowledgeable and personable. The driver Tavan was always waiting in the comfortable air conditioned SUV to pick us up with cold towels and cold bottled water after every stop. They also offer a extremely good price for such great hospitality and service.

I would absolutely recommend to any of my friends and family visiting Siem Reap!

Tour guides Somondy and Pov
Two day private tour for four people.

We took a tour with parents - who are in good health and fitness but in their 70s. We are quite active. our group had a range of english capability from fluent to basic.

Sam devised a very broad and rich tour itinerary for us. Everything that he advised was logical, valid and useful.

Tour:
Somondy (Dy) adjusted as he went, planning around weather, crowds and constantly looking at the levels of fatigue of my parents (I think that in itself deserves five stars).
We still had the opportunity to do more active things along the way, with additional time to walk and explore.
Pov was always there, at just the right time, prompt and precise.

Somondy is incredibly knowledgeable and knows how to engage an audience. His range of knowledge - history (ancient to modern) and art, culture, engineering and architecture is really impressive, and he speaks in a way that each member of our tour group understood and stayed interested. The level of attention and attentiveness of our guides for each member of our group were really appreciated.

Cold bottled water is provided as part of the tour - that was extremely important, as we would have consumed at least 3 litres per person because of the heat.

Why would I book again?
Based on what I observed and in chatting with Somondy, I am pretty sure that he would be able to provide an even faster pace and highly active tour for a group in other circumstances.
I feel that we had exceptional value for price - we had an extensive list and plan and were able to see more in this tour even taking it slow, compared to other company offers. In addition, everything from having a comfortable car to being able to learn first hand from Somondy about Cambodia and Angkor.
I would be happy to book a second visit in Siem Reap with our guides.
