“Value for Money”

We had to stay extra two days so my friends and I were looking for a budget hotel where we can stay those extra days. Although Royal Crown Hotel did not respond right away to the email we sent to pick us up at the airport (had to call them last minute to verify), they were there to greet us promptly at arrival. The staff was very pleasant, helpful and the room very spacious. For the price we paid, we did not expect such elaborate buffet breakfast. A good variety of breads and spreads, fruits and salad and a choice of ham or sausage and pancakes, fruit juices. There was soup and egg station and good cheese too. The bathroom although a bit worn out is adequate and the aircondition cold. Massage is a bit expensive compared to other hotels. Very good location as it is walking distance to the markets (old market, new market and night market), pub street -where all the restaurants are and there are 3 convenience store right in front of the hotel. I suggest you bring your own slippers as the slippers provided in my room were a bit soiled. Since the room is big, there is plenty of cabinets to keep your things.

This hotel was truly a refuge for hot and sweaty travelers. The staff was very accommodating and helpful, the location was excellent for restaurants and markets. The rooms were spotless, cool and comfortable. We would definitely stay here again should we want to visit the sites of Siem Reap again. Great place.

We recently stayed at the Royal Crown Hotel & Spa and enjoyed their facilities. The staff was very friendly and greeted us with a smile and small bow. We enjoyed the freshwater pool as it seemed to be empty every time we went, so nice to be private with just our family. The rooms were nicely appointed with plenty of room for us and our belongings. Our bed was a bit over-firm, probably because we are used to a Tempurapedic mattress at home. Our daughter was disappointed to see they didn't have a fitness center. The spa was wonderful with reasonably priced massages available. The shopping areas in Siem Reap were a short walk away or you could take a tuk-tuk for a small fee. Overall it was a great place to relax and recover from temple tour days.

This is the 2nd time I gave been to Siem reap and I knew I wanted a hotel that was a bit closer to the action and this defiantly was. Mysel and partner had a lovely welcome on arrival with a drink and cold face towel. We had just travelled by train and taxi from Bangkok put were a little early for he k in this wasn't a problem we were shown to our room straight away. We stayed in room 307 which was spacious but most importantly for me clean. There were toiletries available if required too. The staff at reception were great and always said hello and more than willing to help when required. One morning we were up early as we were going for sunrise at Angkor Wat but the rain was really heavy thankfully we had rain jackets but the hotel gave us a couple of brollies to lend too. Breakfast was lovely with a mix of cereal breads pasterys eggs and rice or noodels all of which were great and were always being restocked. There is also two pools abailable to use and both were really refreshing after a day out and about exploring we also are by the pool a couple of times and had some great stone baked pizzas and sandwiches again they were fab. All in all this hotel is great for a bit of luxury at an affordable price - if you are expecting 5 star luxury this is not the place for you and you may want to look at raffles instead (and pau a fortune) but if you are looking for clean accommodation with a friendly atmosphere and a will to please then this is it. Great job to everyone at the RCH we really enjoyed our stay :)
