I stayed at La Maison earlier this year with my boyfriend. It is a beautiful oasis away from the hustle and bustle of the dusty Siem Reap town. The staff were extremely professional and polite. The room (we had a junior suite) was gorgeous and the GM, Joffrey, was a delight.

I cannot say enough about this quaint boutique hotel. If you have the opportunity to stay there, do it!

We had a very relaxing stay at La Maison d'Angkor and took full advantage of their beautiful garden and pool in between visits to the temples and busines meetings. Nice food and very friendly service. Will definitely go back.

La Maison d'Angkor is one of our favorite places to stay when traveling to Siem Reap. There are numerous hotels and guesthouses in Siem Reap, but this one really appeals to us. From the privacy and peaceful setting around a garden-trimmed swimming pool to the simple yet tasteful decor, we enjoyed every aspect of this little hotel. It's located on the rood between town and the airport, so it's only a short $2 tuk tuk ride away from everything. The property's owner is a fabulous Frenchman with a Cambodian wife, both of whom are kind and generous people. We enjoyed our stay so much that we extended it for 2 more days and they offered us the same rate ($60 USD) we originally booked it at which was a 20% discount to the walk-in rate. Breakfast was simple but filling. The charm of the rooms is the thoughtful design where bathrooms are placed behind a wall for privacy, and french doors allow you to open your room to a wide patio with lounge chairs. What a relaxing time we had. Wish I could go back sooner!

Stayed here for 3 nights but wanted to stay longer.

Collected from the airport by a staff member and whisked the short distance to the hotel where we were greeted by warm smiling faces at reception. We had arrived quite early so our room wasn't yet available - but this allowed us to have a leisurely breakfast by the pool and chat with the waitstaff. We didn't have to wait long before our room was ready.

The rooms are clean and spacious. We didn't spend that much time in them but they had everything we needed. Comfy bed, nicely decorated, lovely balcony overlooking the pool.

Sure it is a little bit out of town (not quite 5mins and US$3 by tuk tuk)...but there were always tuk tuks out the front of the hotel to take us anywhere.

We have never encountered staff anywhere that are as friendly and pleasant. We've stayed at many hotels around the world and La Maison is one of the few where the General Manager takes time to chat with his guests. Would definitely go back.

We have just returned from our stay at La Maison d'Angkor. We loved the hotel, the only sad thing is that we only had two nights. If we ever go back to Siem Reap we will definitley stay at this hotel.

The staff was very warm and welcoming and made us feel at home instantly. For us the location was perfect - far enough from town to be quiet and calm and close to the temples. The hotel has free transportation to the town, or you can go with a tuk tuk on your own which is really cheap. We hired a tuk tuk driver for a whole day (20 US dollars) - a good way to explore the temples of Angkor. The hotel can also assist you in booking a guide (we didn't do that - we prefer to explore on our own with lonley planet as our guide).

We enjoyed the dinner in the hotel's restaurant and the breakfast was also good.

The room was spacious, clean and neatly furnished. We loved the balcony overlooking the garden (the biggest balcony we have ever had at a hotel). If you forget your mosquito repellent (which you really need) - don't worry - you will find mosquito repellent in the mini bar in your room!

The swimming pool is really a pool for swimming (app. 25 m), refreshing after a long day exploring ruins.

If you can afford to spend a little more than 100 USD per night, this is the place to stay in Siem Reap.

We stayed 3 nights in this very nice hotel. We asked for the superior villa 2 rooms and the place is really nice an peacefull. You feel like being in a "Maison d'hote". The swimming pool and the garden are nice. Food is very good and the management is professional.
The service is simple, efficient and very warm. This is an adress we hardly recomment for a stay in Siem Reap.

My G/f and I stayed here for 3 nights while we explored Ankor Wat and really enjoyed it. Its classy with a lot of colonial french influence blended with Cambodian charm. We found it a real refuge from the hustle and bustle of Siem Reap and Ankor. After a day of exploring the many temples at Ankor in the sun with all the crowds it was very relaxing to return to this little jem. Good food, nice pool and great staff.

Its definetly pricey for Cambodia but worth it if you want to splurge and enjoy a tranquil french influenced boutique style hotel its a great choice.
