Went their because of their high ranking here and was not disappointed.

No frills, but they have everything you need. Spacious rooms cleaned daily, pretty good location close to other guest houses and all the social activities.

Our tuk-tuk driver acted as our maitre d', handling pretty much everything for us from check-in to check-out.

We stayed at the Bou Savy while in Siem Reap. Great little hotel. Excellent value for money. Hotel will arrange pick-up from airport.

Used the hotels tuk tuk driver (Asean) for trips out to the temples - great service and insight into rural Cambodia.

Mr Bou, the genial owner, is a wonderful guy. On New Year's Eve he put on free food and booze for everyone staying at the GH. His staff are knowledgable and welcoming and there is nothing they won't do for you if asked. The rooms are clean and well appointed, and are excellent value. The location, ten minutes from Pub Street in a tuk tuk, is peaceful and handy. All in all heartily recommended.

This is an excellent value guest house with very friendly and helpful staff. They were very helpful in organising trips for us and there was always a tuk-tuk on hand to drop us off at points around town. We had an a/c room with two very large twin beds. We would have liked a warm shower but for the price we were paying you cannot expect more. We sat on the balcony on a few occasions and they brought up food and drinks for us which as great. The food is good and really excellent value.

Nov 2008. For 4 girls arriving in the evening in a foreign land, from a grueling 12 hr bus trip (from ho chi minh), having your hotel pick you up from the bus station is priceless. We only arranged our accommodation with Bovuth (the owner) via email, and there was no advance payment so we are not sure if they will keep the room for us. I'm so glad Bovuth is one who honors agreements( unlike our sad experience with our hotel in vietnam).

We were not expecting much from the accommodation since we are on a budget, thus we were pleasantly surprised when we saw the place. It's the perfect location --a little off the dusty and noisy main street, nice garden and open-air restaurant, aircon internet shop, and clean and homey rooms and bldg facade. Definitely better than the other guesthouses (in all aspects). It was the best choice.

For $18, all 4 of us stayed in one AC room. They provided toothbrush, fresh towels and bottled water everyday for all 4 of us( to think that bottled water costs $1 in restaurants). Aircon is new, hot water available. It was worth every penny. They're food is also 50% cheaper than other restaurants we visited.

But what we love most is the excellent service and warmth of all the staff. We felt SAFE and AT HOME at bou savy. As a bonus, they speak good english and have sense of humor.

Thank you Bovuth, Bo and all the staff
