After six weeks of traveling in SE Asia, my boyfriend and I ended our trip at the Bayon Boutique Hotel. The hotel is beyond amazing - the staff are incredibly helpful and the hotel itself is gorgeous. The Bayon is located very close to the heart of Siem Reap, so we could walk everywhere. However, the hotel felt like an oasis in such a crazy city. We were very happy using the hotel's tuk-tuk driver to visit Angkor Wat. And after a long day visiting temples, we relaxed in the hotel's beautiful pool and enjoyed delicious drinks made by the hotel's bartender, Passion. Also, the breakfast is great and filled us up before our visits to Angkor Wat. I can't recommend this hotel enough - definitely the best place we stayed in SE Asia and maybe anywhere!

Room Tip: Rooms above the pool are great.

This is one of the newest hotel in Siem Reap, closed to the old market and pub street. We stay there seven days, manager Braveo and his colleagues are friendly and provide execellent service. The pool is gorgeous after we came back from tours! For the breakfast egg benedict is my no.1 choice. Thanks for making our stay memorable.

Nice little boutique hotel a bit tuck away in a quiet lane. Although still a short walk to the night market and pub street.
Staff are very proficient in English and are helpful.
The rooms exceed expectations and the pool is gorgeous.

New hotel in a great location, just a short walk from Pub Street, night markets etc. Very tastefully decorated, rooms are very comfortable. We had a suite and it was very spacious, with a nice size balcony. Lovely pool area, which was a great place to cool off with a delicious cocktail!! Staff were so lovely! Attentive, friendly and always had a smile!! The only thing, I think, that lets it down is the breakfast. While what we had was nice, it was a very limited choice and the portions are small. Not really a problem for me as I don't eat much in the mornings, but if you enjoy a large meal first thing you will be disappointed. But we didn't let that spoil our enjoyment of this wonderful little hotel! Overall we loved it and would definitely stay again!!

Room Tip: Rooms on the right side (above restaurant) have a much better view

For this one, the rooms and building looks much better online than in person.

Although the staff was friendly enough, we checked out 2 rooms and they both smell very musty and sort of mildewy. The king size room is actually a double NOT a king, so we opted for the two twin beds.

The bathroom is very large and appealing with a separate bath tub, shower and toilet.

The beds are fairly comfy.

They also fail to mention that there is a school right next door and the kids literally start screaming at 8:00 am and they don't stop screaming!

The building next door is a body length away ... And there is construction happening all around, so the noise is of sawing and pounding etc.

But here's the kicker ... The continental breakfast ... Oh dear I have never seen my husband walk away from the table!

The toast was so over done and cold that when I took the cold butter and tried to spread it my toast actually crumbled apart. I had one half of a piece of bacon which was torn into two pieces?
The poached eggs were hard as a rock, the coffee ... Well that was another story and the fruit and yogurt was actually just fruit, no yogurt.

If we hadn't already paid for this hotel, I would definitely move!

Value for money, good location and attentive staff. This hotel exceeded our expectations. Interiors are well designed, high thread count comfy beds, good aircon and relatively huge bathrooms. The staff is also quick to attend to your requests. One time, We came back from touring the city and found the sheets were musky. We reported it to the staff and 3 immediately came up to change it with new sheets. Tokla, one of the staff is certainly excellent at his job. He goes the extra mile with his service. I hope to see him in a supervisory role one day. Thank you for making our stay memorable.
