We have just got back from a trip to Cambodia, and stayed at Royal Angkor Resort in siem Reap, had to write a review as we had a wonderful time. The hotel was fantastic, the staff were so helpful and friendly, all areas of the hotel were spotlessly clean, our room was so spacious (slept 2 adults, 2 children (8&4)) easily with loads of room to spare. The food was excellent and reasonably priced. We stayed for 4 nights and could not fault anything at the hotel. The pool area was beautiful and kept so clean and tidy. As mentioned before no request was too much trouble for the staff. We would highly recommend this hotel to anybody planning a trip to Siem Reap. Are only wish was that we could have stayed longer.

The Royal Angkor Resort is filled with beauty with well chosen accents an art work tastefully positioned all over the hotel as well as displayed in the ground floor meeting rooms. There is also real beauty for the jaded traveller in the smiling faces and willingness of the staff to make your experience truly easy and enjoyable.

From the reservation to airport pick up to check in and tour arrangements, all happened like clock work. When we went out of the airport, we immediateely saw our names and the hotel car whipped us to the hotel close by. When we arrived, our tour car and guide were already there waiting for us.

Our particular room had twin four posted beds on plinths with flowing organza bed curtains giving a dreamlike quality.

The pool is guarded by huge ceramic elephants blowing water into the pool giving one the experience of swimming under a waterfall.

The breakfast spread has Asian delights cooked to your requirements interspersed with Western comfort food all done very nicely.

The spa has around 8 rooms for treatment, jacuzzi and massage with excellent mattresses and cotton sheets fresh from the laundry.

Every detail in the hotel has been carefully thought out by someone with refined sensibility and artistic flare. If you love luxury, beauty and excellent service, this is the place to stay.

Fine hotel with its kind and service-oriented staff as its main selling point! While enjoying the excellent buffet breakfast our 1-year old son was gently taken care off and looked after by restaurant staff giving us a little quality time to enjoy the delicious food. Fantastic!

Rooms are nice with balconys overlooking the huge pool, which is nicely set in welcoming surroundings.

We would go back again for sure!

we were there during low season and it felt like the hotel was empty except for us. a little minus was that the pool was under renovation during our visit otherwise the pool area looked very nice! the room was big and spacious with nice toiletts with a good western standard.

I initially did research and found a deal through air asia however the dates I needed to stay weren't completely available. After speaking with Mr. Sathaya I was assured the extra day would still be at the rate quoted online and that he was giving me an upgrade.
After paying quite a bit in Phnom Penh for a hotel that was decent but not what I call an exception value, we arrived in Siem Reap for the first time and were truly impressed. The location is a bit away from 'downtown' but there are free shuttles every 2 hours. I just hired a tuk tuk driver for 10 bucks a day and he took me everywhere downtown.
The hotel itself is very nice and I was shown three rooms to choose from. The staff are all courteous and helpful and for the cost I paid (70$ online special) well worth it. The breakfast will fill you up and is actually stocked with east /west food. I had no problems with the business center per se, but it costs1.5$ per half hour to use the internet. The pool is beautiful as is the lush grounds. The spa and gym are great and though the free weights are lacking; the staff there are very friendly and willing to help with anything. Mr. Sathaya and the other representative are true professionals who are willing to go that extra mile for you and I would highly recommend this hotel for lodging.
